Bones X-Formula V7 Double Locks Wheels pair a 54mm street diameter with the versatile X97 urethane and a natural finish. The V7 profile uses a tighter shape and straighter outer edge to improve lock-in stability, while its added width gives the rider more surface to control during slides and technical ledge skating.
Bones developed X-Formula to combine the smoother roll and vibration absorption associated with a softer wheel with the controlled slide of a traditional hard street wheel. The high-rebound compound is designed to carry speed across rougher pavement, soften harsh feedback through the board, and maintain a useful balance between grip and release. At 97A, this version sits on the more forgiving side of a conventional street setup without becoming a cruiser wheel.
