Nicky, originally from Denmark, became a member of Powell Peralta in 1989. Throughout his time with the team, he dedicated countless hours to European tours, participating in approximately 40-60 demos each year alongside various skaters such as Mike McGill, Steve Caballero, Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Ray Barbee, Frankie Hill, Ray Underhill, Bucky Lasek, Tommy Toiminen, and many others. Sean Cliver, drawing inspiration from a book on Polynesian art, crafted Nicky's distinctive graphic.
